Dragon Fruit

Everyday we are reading a book about dragons. Mrs Mowat brought a dragon fruit. The reason why she brought it is that we can taste it. It tastes like apple. It looks like a dice. It felt like rocks. It smelt like weird candy.     By Anzel

Everyday after lunch in my class we listen to the story The boy who grew dragon fruit and Mrs Mowat brang it into the classroom and we looked at it. Next we touched the dragon fruit and it felt like a slimy slug. Then we smelt it and it smells like kiwi fruit. After that we looked at the dragon fruit and it looks like a dice. It looked cool. Then it tasted like an apple.                          By Ashalia

The reason we brought a dragon fruit is because we were reading a story called the boy who grew dragons.
After we cut it up with a very sharp knife and a board on the bottom. It smelt a little bit of kiwi fruit. It looks a lot like jelly with black seeds in it. It felt a bit wet. It tastes a lot like banana to me.                                             By Amaya

Every day after lunch we read The boy who grew dragons. Mrs Mowat brought in a dragon fruit for us to look at. Mrs Mowat cut up the dragon fruit and I thought it looked like a dice. In the afternoon we read The boy who grew dragons so Mrs Mowat brought dragon fruit to look at and to eat it.
Mrs Mowat put the dragon fruit on the board and then she cut it up and then we felt it on our hands and it felt slippery.
It smells like kiwifruit. It looks like dice inside. It tastes like banana.                                         By Cooper
