Arts Festival- Maori Koru Patterns
For Arts Festival Miss Waaka did Maori Koru Pattern designs from stencils with the junior class rotation, they all did very well and tried hard to keep the stencil on the paper and still. Then they had to vivid carefully over the pencil lines and decorate with 4 different coloured pastels. Here are a few pictures of the vivid to pastel process we did to design the art...
LZ3MW Bike Safety
We have been doing BIKE SAFETY and learning how to be safe on our bike and the correct safety equipment we need and how to wear it. Constable Brian came into school and made a challenging course for us to do on our bikes, scooters and some bikes with trainer wheels too... Everyone tried very hard and their best on the day, I hope they all enjoyed Constable Brian coming in and helping Miss Waaka to encourage the children...
