LZ3MW- Buddy Reading

This year we are pairing up with LZ2KP to do Buddy Reading. We have already started and are practicing our greetings, reading and working with our older peers. We join up with them on Thursday's just before lunch and try to read outside with our hats on, in the shade of LZ3RM's classroom. Here are some pictures of us reading/ working with our buddies.

Here are our holiday pictures. First, the children brainstormed ideas with a buddy. We then discussed in small groups about main/ favourite parts of holiday activities. They drew on big pieces of paper, coloured with felts and crayons, then dyed pictures with 2 or more colours. Miss Waaka has written what they said about their pictures These are now displayed in the classroom. Please feel free come and have a look anytime.
